APL's Player of the Month (POTM) competition is a promotion unlike any other!
The promotion revolves around a monthly leader board challenge whereby players contest for position on a national leaderboard.
We don't just rewarding our number one player either - there's a guaranteed prize pool of $25,000 to be paid out to the top ten players nationally in any given month, rewarding players based on their best ten scores in that month!
The title of POTM will be awarded to the player who posts the best ten results for any one APL player in the league for that calendar month - and only your ten best results for the month count!
The winner of the Players of the Month promotion will win a $10,000 package including entry into the prestigious APL Poker Classic or APL Grand Slam!
Another $15,000 in prize money will be distributed according to the remainder of the top 10 on a sliding scale!
In 2008, we dished out cold hard carsh to a semi-professional fun-loving gym junkie, a 34 year old Victorian card shark, a loving mother of 8 and an Outer West champ who managed to earn himself a $10,000 birthday present amongst others!!!
