Georges Leads Heading Into Final Day
Inner West poker pro Paul Georges dominates the pack at the conclusion of Day Two.
With a mean looking stack of 243,000 at the end of the day's play, Georges will commence the final day of competition in pole position with the $250,000 clear insight.
Georges is joined at the head of the pack by Richard Dilkes 230,000, and Justin Aaron a short way behind also.
Rest up poker players, you'll want to be feeling like a million dollars tomorrow! -

Day Two Ends As Final 176 Brace Themselves Ahead of the Money
It's been a tough day of bad beats, classic calls and rigorous raises and with just 176 players left and the top 100 to be paid tomorrow - it's no wonder our players are feeling the fatigue of high level tournament poker.
After two full days of chip tricks, mind games, flops, turns and rivers The Cube will fire up again at 10:00am tomorrow for Day Three of the 2008 APL Tournament of Champions where we will give away a massive $1,000,000 in cash and prizes throughout the final stages of the World's Largest and Richest Free Poker Tournament. -

The man formerly (and currently) known as Staff from The Gong is 'keepin' it real'. He's keeping POTW Van Le company as the field shrinks to just 220 players.

2007 Champ Rodney Davidson, Troy from Wollongong and APL General Manager Jason LeongIt Ain't Over Yet!
2007 TOC Champion Rodney Davidson may have been eliminated from the Main Event, but that doesn't mean he's any further from the action!
Rodney has donated $1500 to charity as the APL auctioned off two 3x1 meter APL TOC banners. Rodney won the first flag for himself, at a bid of $700.
The former champ then continued to bid on the second flag, determined to present it to his biggest fan, Troy from Wollongong who has travelled all the way to The Cube to meet his idol in Rodney.
The money raised is to be donated to Miracle Babies! -

Best In The West (Inner West that is)
After a few big hands, Inner West Region's Paul Georges now dominates the field of the 2008 TOC with an outrageous stack of just under 260,000!
Georges recently took a chance to eliminate a fellow player, forcing his opponent all in in a pre-flop battle costing our chip leader just 15,000.
Georges held
