APL member John Michael (pictured) was the lucky winner of the Holden Ute giveaway draw at the 2007 Wild Turkey APL Tournament of Champions.
John was in attendance to support good friend Tony Barry, who was playing in the event, and with whom he plays at the Kensington War Memorial in East Sydney.
John was naturally delighted to take home such an amazing prize, and mentioned that he thought the tournament was "absolutely unreal". He was particularly impressed with the APL's floor commentator Martin Harvey who he said was "outstanding and really added to the excitement".
After recently making the regional final in East Sydney in August, John hopes to go a step further and be more than a spectator at the 2008 APL Tournament of Champions. With John's luck, he may just go all the way to the final table!
