APL Announces Crown Casino as Venue for 2009 Wild Turkey Poker Classic!

It is with great pleasure APL, the world's largest free poker provider along with long time partner Wild Turkey Bourbon announce that the inaugural Wild Turkey Poker Classic is to be hosted at Melbourne's Crown Casino - the Southern Hemisphere's largest and most successful entertainment complex, from 14 February 2009.
Wild Turkey, APL's partner since the league's inception in 2005 secured the naming rights to the companies premier events property post this year's Tournament of Champions, APL's $1,000,000 event seating 1004 players, the most players ever undertaken in a 'live free roll' format, in recent history.
The Wild Turkey Poker Classic will be held over two days and intends to seat up to 500 players who will share in over $500,000 with half of the final table qualifying into Team APL an elite playing team. These lucky players will then get the opportunity to compete in the world's largest, richest poker event, The World Series of Poker in Las Vegas in mid 2009.
Crown Casino and it's internationally recognized Crown Poker Room will be the venue for the Wild Turkey Poker Classic. This room is also the venue for Australia's richest poker event, the Aussie Millions so the league's premier event moving to Crown Casino will be a welcome choice for players both stateside and nationally.
APL Players have a chance to qualify for the Wild Turkey Poker Classic through more than 4,000 tournaments hosted by the league monthly and now with less than 5 months till game day the competition is heating up!
